PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT)

As a Production Controller (Aircraft), GS-1152-09, you will serve as a staff specialist who has a dual primary purpose; (1) is to provide advanced technical aircraft mechanical knowledge and training support to upgrade skills to maximize performance of the Air Mobility Division (AMD) as an effective division of the Air & Space Operations Center (AOC) force level Weapon System (WS) and (2) works independently or as part of an AMD functional team to provide expert technical support, information, and assistance for planning and employment as it relates to aircraft maintenance and recovery. Due to the unique mission of the cNAF, this PD cannot be used in any other organization. Military Grades:

Experience:
Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
